"I remember we were supposed to go to the island that weekend because you were coming with the new baby. But my brother had passed away Friday night and I was so broken. Saturday morning your Uncle Mike said to me 'We don’t have to go to the island, I know you’re really upset.' I said, 'Nope I need to see that new baby and I need to hold her.' My heart was shattered and when you handed her to me I felt my sadness lessen. That beautiful little girl helped me through a very difficult time and that’s something I wish she would have known."
